Growing up, my family vacationed (almost exclusively) at "the lake." A place in the upper Midwest that my grandparents acquired in the 20s or 30s, the best part about it was the acres and acres of unadulterated land... forest... animals ...water. I didn't even realize how great it was until I was an adult. Now, in the age of constant distraction, the getaway is more important than ever! A physician by training, a land investor by interest, Jeff, lives in Tennessee with his wife and their sons. He enjoys leaving the city behind and heading to the wilderness of Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee, Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, "the lake" in Wisconsin, or anywhere else there is "nothing" to enjoy.
